This is really quite sweet. But the relatively low view count (fewer than 60K in two months -- June 8th) despite the BBC's fairly serious media oomph demonstrates how hard it really is to promote these things.

I never saw Borat. I suspect that that's the event (or lack of one) that finally proved that I was an adult. When I see it on DVD that will be the event that proves that I'm not an adult after all. But I think I'd rather see Bruno...
Mongolian song Buffalaxed - Dr. Fey
I didn't know about Buffalax (the YouTube user) or Buffalaxing (the verb) but here's the first example of the art that I've seen. A definition? "A song in a non-English language that has been given subtitles based on what the foreign words sound like ... is said to have been Buffalaxed. This word comes from a genius on YouTube whose username is Buffalax." I'm now off to watch some of Buffalax's oeuvre.

Jon Stewart may just have toppled the Twitter hype curve. But I reckon there's still enough momentum. I hadn't realized how much the US media had jumped on the Twitter bandwagon. Fascinating in a car crash kinda way.
